Does the club offer a Firearms Safety Class?


The club offers the NRA Home Firearms Safety Class. This 8 hour class with live fire is held monthly usually on a Saturday depending on the club’s schedule. This class is State Police approved and is needed to apply for your Mass. Firearms License. No classes are held during July or August. The cost is $200.00 for non-members (club members and immediate family, pay $180). The Live Fire part of the class maybe scheduled on other day. Class is limited to 6 students for more personal instruction.

What to bring: Long Pants, Water / Beverage, Lunch, Pen & Notebook, Close-toed Shoes.

What is Provided: Ammunition, Firearm, Targets, Ear & Eye Protection.

Firearms Training

The club offers a variety of firearms training classes — many are taught by the instructors of Paladin Group Training, who are club members. These classes can be found listed on the Upcoming Events on the Button Below.

Firearms Safety Class in Main Hall & Outdoor Ranges

Call Club's main number 978-774-9870 follow prompts to request a seat for the class. Firearms Safety Class needed to apply for your Ma. Firearms License. Cost is $180 for club members and their immediate family members and $200 for non members. Only Cash or checks made out to Danvers Fish & Game accepted. Fee payable that day.
